Football is a Team game played with 11  players aside and subs.It's a game for Boys and girls,Football is a Game that people from the age of  3 play till you choose to stop playing. Also when playing football you have your own position where you need to control to keep the ball away from your goal so that the other team doesn't score.

Professional Football is run by a company called Fifa. They are a company that supplies some of the gear  that the team use for example they provide bibs  and  jackets. They also organise tournaments like the World Cup and make sure that everyone is professional. In professional Football you need to be very fit and exercise and train more than once a week. Also being a professional sport, it is played in the Olympics and in tournaments around the world.

New Zealand has two professional football teams that travel all around the world. One of them is The All Whites and the other team is the Wellington Phoenix except the Wellington Phoenix only travel to Australia because most of the teams that the Phoenix play against are all from Australia.

To keep safe  when playing  football you need to wear shin pads with  socks over the top of the shin pads so that if someone kicked you  in the shin it wouldn't hurt as much as if you didn’t have shin pads on. You also need to have suitable boots to play in that have spriggs.

The gear you will need to play football in is shorts, boots with spriggs, shin pads and lastly socks to put over the shin pads to hold them on. Some types of boots made are like, Nike,Adidas,Puma,Under Armor,lotto and loads more.

I think most boots cost a lot of money because they  are the best quality  you could buy.

In 2017 Neymar Jr Has been the biggest paid professional footballer in Europe he got paid €222m to move to a different team called Paris-Saint-Germain. I would like to be a professional footballer and earn lots of money because it’s my favourite sport.
